I am a third year college student at the University of San Diego majoring in Business. I am also an alumni Poway High School Varsity Player. My approach starts with the basics such as grip, stance, and swing. Ensuring that my students understand and practice these fundamentals before moving on to more advanced techniques.

I am a college student at the University of San Diego. I grew up playing tennis since I was 4 years old and I love working with kids of all ages. I am genuinely passionate about the game and mentoring children to understand the strategy, skill and sportsmanship!

FAQ's

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Cancellation policies is 24 hours advanced notice. Any cancellation after the 24 hour period is non-refundable. Cancellations made 24 hours in advance will be issued a credit for court use or lessons at another time.

WHAT IF IT STARTS RAINING OR THERE IS POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS?

Your coach will make every attempt to hold classes as scheduled. In adverse weather conditions the player should contact their tennis coach to check if play is possible. Your coach will make the final decision. If the tennis court is deemed unplayable and make-ups will be offered only if a lesson is cancelled due to inclement weather.

I AM A COMPLETE, UNCOORDINATED BEGINNER. CAN I LEARN TENNIS?

Yes. Anyone can learn tennis, but you will have to make the effort to practice in addition to lessons.

WILL I BE CHARGED IF I PLAY LONGER THAN AN HOUR?

Yes. If you decide to play after your scheduled time, you will be charged the rate for a minimum one half hour.

WHEN SHOULD I PAY?

Payment is always due in advance of your lesson. Payment can be made via Cash, Venmo or Zelle.

WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING TO TENNIS?

A tennis racquet, water bottle, sunscreen and a hat in warmer months is all that is needed. We recommend comfortable cross-trainer tennis shoes.

When should my child arrive to tennis and when should I pick him or her up?

Having children arrive five minutes before the start of class is ideal. Picking your child up promptly at the end of the lesson is important as our instructors often have time commitments after the class
